LIFE RIME 2.0

The evaluation report from the EU commission regarding the LIFE application stated that the application had enough points to be approved but other applications were prioritized. Together with the County Administration Boards and Bergvik Skog we will aim to submit an improved application in 2017 or 2018. 

The project name is Life Älväng, Restoration of River Meadows in Nedre Dalälven region, LIFE RIME. The application was written by NeDa in close cooperation with the County Administrative Boards of Gävleborg and Uppsala. For the 2.0 edition of the application, the County Adminstrative Board of Dalarna will be participating. Bergvik Skog and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is co-financing the project as well.
